HV-2 Basic / Qualified person High-Voltage

Important
- Please note that participation in the training is only possible with PPE safety shoes (at least "S2")!
Objectives
The participant:
- Can evaluate the transportability of HV storage/cell.
- Can assess HV safety and carry out HV technical approval.
- Is able to independently carry out unrestricted work/measurement, fault diagnosis.
- Learn how to create risk assessments and work instructions.
- Can create or evaluate HV reports, test components and piece test.
- Is able to carry out short circuit measurement.
Content
- Personal basics, electrical engineering basics (current, voltage and resistance, semiconductor technology).
- Basics of dealing with hazardous voltages.
- Advanced electrotechnical basics (inverters, rectifiers, converters, protective measures).
- Practical application of the basics in the vehicle and on the component.
- Independent work on HV components/vehicles.
- Theory & practice on LabCar and e-vehicles.
- Responsibilities in the HV environment.
- BMW/specific requirements.
Target Group
- Partners who work independently on high-voltage or are responsible for this work.
- Partners with little previous electrical engineering knowledge.
Good to know
This training is a prerequisite for:
- HV-3 / Qualified person high-voltage - working on live HV-components (ITEM_46028).
- HV-2 Advanced/Qualified person High-Voltage (ITEM_46026).
- HV-2 Expert / Qualified person High-Voltage (ITEM_46027). HV-3C / Qualified Person High-Voltage - Working on live HV-Components (ITEM_77057).
Prerequisites
Booking prerequisite:
To be eligible to enrol into this course, you must have completed the following courses:
- HV-1 (ITEM_46024) or HV-1-Delta (ITEM_46023) (not available since 30.11.24).
- WBT - HV-2 - Placement Tests (TEST_0001-BMW) or HV-2 Intro completed (ITEM_46030).
Please send your QX-number as well as your BMW ID number (on the front under the name) for validation to support@bmw-partner.academy.
IMPORTANT: Always state your currently active QX-number! Your learning history from previous QX-numbers must always be transferred to your current QX-number. The transfer is not done automatically; thus, you are responsible for requesting the transfer at itsd-german@bmw.com before you book this training.
Attention: Activation of your BMW ID card required before the start of the course!
The course takes place in an area with special access restrictions. Prior activation of access rights based on the BMW ID number is mandatory for participation. It is not possible to enter the training area without prior authorization!
