Objectives

The Participant:

• Before starting project work, SE partners should be qualified in terms of setting up and configuring product and process planning in Process Designer so that at the end of the project, there is no additional effort involved in transferring the data to the BMW system.

Content

• Development of a planning alternative (simulation cell).
• Integrate/link components and MFPs (fasteners) in accordance with guidelines.
• Data exchange between BMW and SE partners.
• VTS (provision of standard components).
• Data structure on the EM server.
• User management (roles and rights).
• Process Designer alternatives import/export.
• Link components and work content to the alternative.
• Construction of the joining sequence and generation of twin structures.
• Avoiding the creation of shared objects.
• Robot controller setting.
• Assigning variant sets to operations.

Prerequisites

• Basic knowledge of using Process Designer and Process Simulates required.
