• Understands the area of application of ALM Octane in defect management, testing and validation in the E/E area and the structure of ALM Octane.
• Can create and edit Defects in ALM Octane in the context of the basic problem management process (connection to the process guidline).
• Knows the reporting and monitoring options in ALM Octane and how to use and adjust the data visualizations.

Content

• Organization of ALM Octane & integration in the tool chain including data synchronization with other tools.
• Basic functions of ALM Octane: views, search, filters, favorites, follow, bulk update, templates, comments, etc.
• Entities: how to create and edit Defects, Tasks, Widgets.
• Workflow of Defects in the context of roles and use cases.
